Do I need to sign up or create an account on BaatBox?+
No. Just pick a display name and, if you like, add your interests — that's all. No email, no password, and no profile is ever created. That is exactly why no permanent identity of yours is ever stored on BaatBox.
How does interest-based matching work?+
When you press Start, the system first looks for a partner whose interests match yours — such as Music, Cricket or Gaming. If nobody with a common interest is online within a few seconds, you are matched with any available user instead, so you never have to wait around.
Are my chats or photos saved anywhere?+
Absolutely not. BaatBox does not use a database at all. Messages and photos are only relayed between the two connected users; photos are temporary, and everything is gone the moment the chat ends. You should still avoid sharing personal photos or information — the other person can always take a screenshot.
What happens if my internet drops in the middle of a chat?+
The chat simply resumes. If your connection drops or the page refreshes by accident, BaatBox reconnects automatically and, if you are back within 45 seconds, restores the same partner and the same chat — just don't press Exit.
What if I don't get along with my partner?+
Press the Next button — the current chat ends and a new partner is found for you straight away. If someone says or does something wrong, Report & Next lets you skip them and report them at the same time.
Is BaatBox free to use?+
Yes, completely free. The cost of running the site is covered by the ads displayed on the page.
